Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy covers the online data collection and usage policies and practices by OccupationPro.com ("OP") applicable to the occupationpro.com web site (the "OP Site"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information gathered in any other fashion or to websites that we have no relationship with or control of. OP is not responsible for the privacy policies, practices or actions of such other web sites to which you may link to from the OP Site. We encourage all users to review the privacy policies of any other websites visited.Please protect your private personal information by never providing credit card, bank account or social security numbers to prospective employers.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
In order to provide services, OP may collect personal information, including, but not limited to, your name, contact information (such as address, telephone number, and e-mail address), credit card number, billing information and other identifying information.
OP may also collect demographic information such as ZIP code, age, user preferences, gender, and interests.
In addition, OP may indirectly collect information about you when you use certain third party services available on the OP Site.
We may also collect information about your use of OP, such as what web pages you visit and what services you use, and information about your computer hardware and software. This information may, include, without limitation, IP addresses (which identifies the location of your computer on the internet), domain name/page URLs, type of computer browser, time of access and referring web sites.
We will collect and store resume and cover letter information if you choose to store such information using our "My Career Center" service. We may collect information that you submit, such as feedback or comments, or that you post on our resume or job post services. Please do not post personal information that you wish to keep private.
USE OF INFORMATION
Although we make a good faith effort to store information that we collect in a secure environment, we cannot guarantee that such information is completely secure. Certain information such as resumes and job postings that we collect may be stored in our data bases, even after its "deletion".
Account information is password protected. Please keep your passwords safe and make sure to log out when you are not using our service.
We endeavor to protect security of payment information during transmission to financial gateways by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. We use a third party service provider to process credit card transactions.
Search engines affiliated and not affiliated with OP (i.e., Google.com, Yahoo.com, Archive.org) may archive or make available on non-OP websites job postings and resumes posted in publicly accessible areas of the OP Site.
If you have provided your consent, you agree that we may use the information we gather to contact you by email and other communications with information about products or services (including, without limitation, news letters, promotions, job opportunities and additional job postings) that we or third parties offer or may offer. If you provide such consent, you also agree that we may share such information to third-parties for marketing purposes. You may chose to Opt Out of receiving such communications by editing your Account settings or following the Opt-Out procedures set forth in such communications. We may also contract users with administrative communications from time to time.
Any feedback and comments you provide to us becomes our property, and we can use such information for marketing purposes or to contact you for further information.
The information we collect on the OP Site may be shared with companies affiliated with OP in order to deliver products and services that you have selected, including, but not limited to, searches for job seekers or in order to undertake analysis of our database such as aggregate profiling of our registered users.
We may share aggregated anonymous information about users of the OP Site (for example, the number of visitors to any particular area of the OP Site and the web pages visited on the OP Site and other web sites, including third party web sites) with our clients, partners and other third parties for marketing and other purposes.
We provide services such as technology and hosting services to third parties to power the employment services on their web sites ("OP Powered Sites"). Personal and other information provided by you or collected on such OP Powered Sites may be stored on OP's databases and such data bases used by such OP Powered Sites. OP is not responsible for the use of such information stored by such OP Powered Sites or the privacy and data protection practices of such OP Powered Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and data protection practices of such OP Powered Sites.
If you attempt to establish an account with OP after establishing an account with an OP Powered Site, OP may use such account information provided to such OP Powered Site to establish an account for you to use on the OP Site.
Information collected by an OP Powered Site or on a co-branded web page may become the property of the OP Powered Site or of both OP and such OP Powered Site.
We may disclose user information to companies and individuals we contract or employ to provide services on our behalf (such as web hosting services, data analysis, marketing services, credit card payment processing, and customer service). Such third parties will have access to user information as necessary to perform their services. However they may not share such information with third parties.
Please be aware that by posting jobs and resumes you are voluntarily disclosing personal information (such as email addresses and contact addresses) that third parties may collect and use. Such third parties may use this information to contact you with unsolicited communications for which OP has no responsibility. You should not disclose any personal information that you wish to keep private.
OP may also disclose user information when we believe that such disclosure is required by law. OP may also disclose such information to law enforcement or others or to protect the rights, property, interests or safety of OP, the general public or other users of the OP Site, to enforce the Terms and Conditions or to respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third parties. In addition, personal information we collect may be passed on to third parties in connection with a transfer of ownership or assets of OP or pursuant to bankruptcy, whether voluntary or involuntary, of OP.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ON RESUMES AND COVER LETTERS
Your personal information may be disclosed by you by allowing others to view your resume or submitting your resume and cover letter to potential employers or other parties that invite the submission of resumes and cover letters.
Our resume service allows you to store your resume in our database for use by you in applying for jobs posted on OP. However, employers and recruiters will not have access to search it unless you indicate that it should be available for searching. You should be careful in what information you provide on your resume or cover letter that you send to potential employers. There have been instances of scams on the internet where third parties pose as employers to obtain information on internet users.
If you allow your resume to be searchable by employers, then any parties with access to our searchable resume database will have access to your resume. You should be careful in what information you provide on your resumes that will be searchable by employers. You may indicate that the resume is anonymous and thus your resume contact information will not be displayed to parties searching the resume data base. However, you should be careful in what information is set forth on the resume, as such searching parties may be able to determine your identity based on the information that you provide, such as job and education history.
OP is not responsible for the use of resumes or cover letters by third parties who access such resumes through OP's searchable resume database. You may remove your resume or profile at anytime, however, employers, recruiters and others who have accessed the OP searchable resume database may have kept a copy of your resume, cover letter or profile in their own files or databases. OP is not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes, profiles or cover letters so retained by such third parties.
COOKIES
OP uses cookies for the convenience of our users' and to enhance their online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer hard drive by a web page server. Cookies are individually assigned to a user's computer so that the web server will recognize that they have returned to a specific web page such as login. Cookies are also used to track click streams.
You may choose to not accept cookies by changing your web browser settings. If you do so, however, certain services may not be available or function properly.
ACCESSING AND CHANGING PERSONAL INFORMATION
You may review, update, manage, correct, or change your account information, resumes, profiles or cover letters on OP at any time.
To change your OP account information log into your OP account, go to My Career Center, then Edit Account. Click here to login to your Edit Account page. Employers can change their account information by login in and going to Employer Home. Click here login to your to Employer Home page.
You may review, update, manage, correct, or change account information and resume, cover letters and profiles. We retain indefinitely all the information that you provide or we gather about you for archival purposes. Such information will not be publicly available or accessible on the internet.
CHILDREN
The OP Sites is directed at adults and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 and such persons are strictly prohibited from using the OP Site and services.
INTERNATIONAL USERS
By using the OP Site, you acknowledge and agree that we may use the data that we collect for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy or in our other communications with you, including the transmission of such data outside of the jurisdiction where you are located. Such data may be stored on servers located in the United States and outside of the United States. By providing us with your data, you agree to such transfer and storage of such data.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
OP cannot and does not guarantee that private communications and other private personal information will not be disclosed in ways that are not described in this Privacy Policy. You agree that you assume all risk and responsibility for using the OP Site, the internet and any goods or services provided by OP on the OP Site or by third parties.
CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
OP will provide notice of materially significant changes to our Privacy Policy by posting a notice on the OP Site.
